Hi, I have spark car with Michelin Xm1 tyres and run only 23000kms I have both on/off road travel with a average of 1000km per month What about mrf ztx and Goodyear duraplus, Michelin did not give me milage as I thought Please suggest best tyreRead More
Since your running combines a mix of on/off road traveling, Goodyear Duraplus would be a better tyre as it offters better traction as compared to ZTX and is also quite durable. In terms of tyre life also this tyre is quite good. Michelin Energy XM1 is a pretty awesome tyres but it is made of soft rubber compound which tends to wear out relatively quickly over rough/unpaved roads.

Hello Siddharth, I am having Fiat Linea Diesel Car with Goodyear tyre 195 60 R15 88T. These tyres are 5 years old. when I this time took for puncture repair. it was found that there were some cracks in two tyre and according to the technical the tyre are having too much tear and wear so asked me to change. Pl suggest 1) Can I change 2+2 in a month gap 2) should Change the same make of the tyreRead More
Tyres usually have a shelf life of almost 5 years. If the tyres are older than that then they offer very poor traction as they harden over time. Considering that, it is best to change all 4. If however, your running is very low and at a moderate speed, then you can change just front 2 tyres ( although still try replacing all 4 for optimum safety ).
Yes, you can change 2 tyres now and 2 few months from now. But best is to make sure all 4 are of same brand and same model. Mixing patterns and brands is not a great thing.
You not necessarily have to buy Goodyear, you can go for any other brand you like.
Yokohama A. Drive AA01 would be a great tyre for your Linea. Another tyre you could consider is Bridgestone Potenza G-III. They are pretty durable and offer a comfortable ride along with great grip. If you want to go for an economical option then Goodyear Duraplus would be a good thing to consider.
