Hi Ankit,

Sadly, there isn't a universal definition of "Best" when it comes to tyres. We all have our different priorities and preferences. But I would try to suggest you something which would tick all the right boxes.

You should look at buying Michelin Energy XM2 tyres of Bridgestone Turanza AR20 for your Xing. Both these tyres offer superb grip, handling and tread life. They both make use of Silica in their rubber compound. This increases grip levels over wet surfaces and enhance tyre life. But Michelin Energy XM2 would offer a more comfortable and quiet ride quality.

In case you want something cost-friendly, then go for MRF ZVTS. It offers confident wet and dry grip and a long tyre life, but is a bit noisy , especially at high speeds.

Yokohama Earth-1 is also a very good tyre and delivers a great performance. It is also priced somewhere between MRF and Bridgestone/MIchelin. So, if you can afford to spend a bit more than MRF then you should go for this.

Hello Anshul,

I would suggest that you go for Bridgestone Firestone FR500 tyre for your Santro. It is an excellent tyre; offers superior wey and dry grip, is quite durable over rough tarmac and offers long tread life along with good ride comfort.

In case you want something economical then go for MRF ZSLK. These are silica based tyres and offer good wet and dry grip with long tread life.

Hey.. i have a santro xing and need to replace tyres recommend me planning to go ladakh. Thanks.

Hi Suhail,

You would require tyres that offer excellent wet and dry traction, are durable and offer good comfort. I would recommend that you go for Bridgestone Turanza AR20 tyres. They offer excellent traction, superior ride comfort and are fairly durable.

Another good tyre that you could go for is Yokohama Earth-1. It also offers good comfort, superior traction and precise handling.

Out of the two, my recommendation would be Turanza.

You might also want to use Tyre -Sealant on new tyres to protect from punctures. It is a very cost effective solution and offers good protecion from punctures.

Hello Gopalkrishnan,

i Ulhas,

Take a look at the MRF ZVTS. These are hard compound rubber but last a long time.

If you don't drive much, then spending a little more on a set of Falken Sincera will give you better grip and less road noise. The difference will be noticeable instantly compared to the MRF at the cost of a shorter life.

What are the upsize options for Hundai Santro Zing which Will not have any adverse effect and improve ride and handling of the car.

Hello Prakash,

The stock tyre size on Santro Xing is 155/70 R13.  The recommended upsize for this would be 165/70 R13. This size would offer better road grip and more effective braking without any compromises on performance or handling.

In case you want to go fo 14" rims then 165/60 R14 would be a good option.

Hi Nidhi,

Keeping safety and long tyre life in mind, I think you should go for MRF ZVTS.  However, if you want something better then Bridgestone Turanza AR20  would be a great tyre for your Santro.
