Hi Kiran,

Please go for tubeless tyres. They offer great convenience and also improve handling.

You should look at buying Michelin Energy XM2 tyres of Bridgestone Turanza AR20 for your WagonR. Both these tyres offer superb grip, handling and tread life. They both make use of Silica in their rubber compound. This increases grip levels over wet surfaces and enhance tyre life. But Michelin Energy XM2 would offer a more comfortable and quiet ride quality.

In case you want something cost-friendly, then go for MRF ZVTS. It offers confident wet and dry grip and a long tyre life, but is a bit noisy , especially at high speeds.

Yokohama Earth-1 is also a very good tyre and delivers a great performance. It is also priced somewhere between MRF and Bridgestone/MIchelin. So, if you can afford to spend a bit more than MRF then you should go for this.

Hi Love,

The stock factory tyres offer a decent balance of comfort, longevity, grip and cost. I'd recommend sticking with ZVTV if you want the tyre to last really long time.

Optionally, you can also consider the Earth1. These are quite and comfortable and offer good straight line and cornering grip.

The XM2 is better at evacuating water on a wet road but those groves will result in a bit more noise compared to the Earth1. Cornering also may not be at par with the Earth 1 but straight line grip will be better because of more rubber contact patch.

Since your usage is low, you can use MRF ZVTV tyres. They offer good tread life along with confident wet and dry grip. In terms of costing also they are not very expensive.

Which tyre is suggested for honda city 2014 model diesel?

Hi Anindya,

Goodyear Assurance Triplemax would be a very good tyre for Honda City. It offers good comfort, traction and tread life. However, if you want a better tyre then look at Bridgestone Turanza AR20 or Michelin Energy XM2. While Michelin provides superior ride comfort and grip, Turanza offers great traction with more durability and decent ride comfort.

If you want an economical option with long tyre life, decent grip but can compromise on comfort and tyre noise then go for MRF ZVTV.

Hi Amit,

MRF ZVTV would be a pretty good tyre to start with for your Manza. If budget is not a constraint then you should go for Bridgestone Turanza ER300

Go for Michelin Energy XM2 or Bridgestone Turanza AR20 tyres for your Santro. Turanza would be a better option if your usage will be over rough or unpaved roads as they are more durable than Michelin. Both these tyres have long tread life.

However, if you want an economical option then go for MRF ZVTV. It offers decent performance and has long tyre life, but is a little noisy at high speeds.

Hi Suresh,

MRF ZVTV would be a good tyre to begin with. It offers decent grip levels and long tyre life. In case you want something better then go for Michelin Energy XM2 or Bridgestone Turanza AR20.

A tyre of intermediate quality would be Bridgestone B290.

Hi Siddharth !! I own a 2011 end Honda City i-vtec automatic car. The car has done 33000 kms with the company fitted Michelin tyres. The tyres started having cracks and peeling off at 22000 kms.only. The honda service advisor said its due to the car running less. Which tyres should I go for considering mumbai city driving only and a monthly commute of approximately 600 kms. Regards, Sundeep Soni

Hi Atul,

In this price range you can look at buying MRF ZVTV. This tyre offers decent grip levels and a long tyre life. However it is a bit noisy.

In case you want something that offers better grip and comfort level then go for Goodyear Assurance Triplemax. It will not run as long as MRF but will offer good performance.
