I've Toyota fortuner 4x4 MT and I need to buy set of new tyres so can you tell me which brand and what size is most preferrable.Read More
If you use your Fortuner almost always on well-paved roads then you can go for Bridgestone Dueler H/L 683 tyres. They offer good comfort, traction and handling.
In case you want something better for highway use then Continental ContiCrossContact LX-2 would be a very good tyre.
However, if you usage is inclined towards off-roading as well , then go for Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S. It offers good grip over all surfaces and precise handling- it is indeed a very good all-terrain tyre.
In case you want something top of the line then Continental ContiCrossContact AT would be a pretty good tyre, suitable for off-road as well as on-road usage.

HI Ramit, I have a fortuner 4x4 (2011 version) and need to replace two tyres because of wear and tear , the orignal set of tyres lasted for 47,000 kms . I regularly go off road and travel about 100 kms a day (in traffic) within the city on a daily basis. The off raid trip are one in 3 months in tough terrain (like manali , himachal etc.). Please suggedst which brand and make would suit my requirement. Thanks in advanceRead More
Considering the mix usage of your vehicles over highways as well as rough terrains, I would suggest that you go for Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tyre. It is an all terrain tyre and would perform well over rough terrains as well as highways. It has a long tread life and is durable to cuts and abrasions.

Hi. I have a Toyota Fortuner that has done 65000 kms. I intend changing the tyres. Which are the most appropriate ones. I do not do any cross country driving. But do the hills often up to Simla. Thanks RajenRead More
If you drive mostly on the city or highways then you don't really need All-terrain tread on the tyres. I will recommend you to pick Bridgestone Ecopia EP-850 or Bridgestone Dueler H/L 683. These tyres will provide better ride quality than the all-terrain tyres but don't go off-roading on them.
