I have a 2009 Ford Fiesta Classic 1.4 ZXI Diesel model with stock tyre-MRF-ZV2K. I am looking for a replacement for all tyres as my vehicle has done 50k+ km's already. Ride comfort, handling & fuel economy would be top priority along with good wet performance. I travel a lot on rugged road & highways with potholes. Please suggest a good tyre. 175/65/R14 or 185/65/R14????Suggest ASAP.ThankRead More
The Bridgestone Turanza is an all-rounder of sorts for the Indian road conditions. I'd suggest you to fit these tyres on your vehicle, given your set of requirements. Regarding the tyre size, you can upsize the tyres of your vehicle to 185/60 R14 as 185/65 R14 will increase the ride height of the car by nearly 13mm; the ride quality will be better than before but as a trade-off handling of the vehicle will suffer by a wee bit. Another option would be to stick to the stock size of 175/65 R14 as before.

Generally tyres lasts for about 40,000-50,000 km. However this figure is just an estimated figure. Tyre wear depends on number of factors like your driving style, general maintenance like alignment/balancing and checking tyre pressures regularly.
