6th Latin American and Caribbean Tyre Expo ends on a high

The sixth annual Latin American and Caribbean Tyre Expo was held from July 16-18, 2015 at the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama City. The event proved to be a busy affair when it hosted 2,261 registered visitors. The event featured showcases from 210 exhibitors from 69 countries, including major tyre makers and tyre solution providers. 71 per cent of the attendees came from South and Central America and around 19 per cent attendees from Asia.
Some of the industry's leading companies that exhibited their offering included, Euromaster S.A./ Michelin, Tiremaxx International Corp., Triangle Tyre, Sailun Tire, Marangoni Tread Latin America S.A., Hules Banda S.A. de C.V., Vipal Rubber Corp., Aeolus Tyre Co. Ltd., Elgi Rubber Co., JK Tornel S.A. de C.V., Petlas Tire Manufacturing and Trading Inc., Carlisle Tire (The Carlstar Group LLC), Industrias de Hule Galgo, Tech International, Apollo International Ltd. and Robert Bosch Panama S.A.
Visitors were pleased with the experience and following are some of comments they used to describe their experience:

Among the attendees, 40 per cent said that agricultural tyres were interesting and 25 per cent of the visitors found the passenger tyres showcasing interesting. There was an overall positive response when asked if they would like to visit this Expo again next year.
