Apollo introduces new range of Endurance truck-bus radial tyres in Iran

Apollo Tyres has announced the expansion of its Truck and Bus Radials (TBR) operations in the Iranian market. The company recently introduced new variants of the highly-successful Apollo Endurace range of TBR to more than 75 business partners in Iran. The expansion of the TBR range is done with support of Apollo Tyres’ distributor in Iran, Alton Rah Tohid Jonob Khozestan Coop.

According to a statement released by Apollo Tyres, the Iranian commercial market has a demand of 3,00,000 tyres per month of which, 60 per cent is radial tyres. Since the Iranian economy is also expected to grow at a steady rate in the coming time, Apollo will be targeting at a larger share in the market. The company is also expecting increased freight movement across the country to further strengthen its TBR market in the country.

For the last few years, Apollo has been selling TBR in Iran. However, with the introduction of new variants of Apollo Endurace namely, MA737, HA, HD and RD range of TBR, the company is aiming to achieve a significant increase in its sales of TBR in the country by the end of the current fiscal.

In addition to the TBR range, Apollo is also present in the truck-bus bias and the passenger vehicle tyre segments in Iran. As per Apollo, it has been among the dominant players in the truck-bus bias category for the last few years in Iran. In the future, the company will also launch its Off-Highway tyres in Iran, it said.

Apollo is one of the largest tyre manufactures in India. The homegrown manufacturer has a total of 7 production facilities spread across India, Southern Africa and The Netherlands. Apollo also owns high-end premium tyre brand Vredestein, among others.
