Apollo Tyres appoints Pedro Matos as Chief Quality Officer

Apollo Tyres has announced the appointment of its new Chief Quality Officer. The new Chief Quality Officer - Pedro Matos, will look after the quality and business excellence portfolio at Apollo Tyres Ltd.

Pedro Matos has a good experience in developing and implementing the best management systems and processes.

Before joining Apollo Tyres, he had worked with Continental AG in Germany as Vice President, Manufacturing CST (Commercial Specialty Tires). He has also handled responsibilities as Senior Vice President for Quality Management responsible for strategic planning of quality and for developing processes for total customer satisfaction at Continental AG. Pedo was also involved in expansion and investment projects.

As the new Chief Quality Officer, Pedro Matos will report to Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Apollo Tyres Ltd. and will focus on challenging and improving existing processes and systems to deliver better business results.
