Maruti Suzuki has revealed the much-awaited Jimny 5-door SUV at the Auto Expo 2023. This is the global debut of the sub-4-meter SUV and India will be the first one to get the Maruti Jimny. Tyres & Wheels
The Jimny is a true off-roader at heart with rugged underpinnings. The SUV sits on 15-inch alloy wheels shod with chunky 195/80 R15 stock tyres from Bridgestone Dueler H/L, which is a hit amongst people fond of pickups, crossovers and SUVs. The Dueler H/L, when combined with the off-roading capabilities of Jimny, offers a relaxed and comfortable drive.
These tyres can deliver many benefits as it comes integrated with lightning groove design for better dispersion of water while offering confidence on dry surfaces as well. The sidewall of Dueler H/L features an ideal mixture of rubber compound for better braking and cornering, while also giving peace of mind during driving the Jimny on open routes.
Exteriors & Interiors
The boxy-styled Jimny comes with rounded headlights, a slatted chrome-finished grille, bumper-mounted tail lights and the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.
The interiors are upmarket with an all-black dashboard and features, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, cruise control, and powered ORVMs, among others. Engine & Specs
The Jimny houses a new K15C engine producing 105PS and 134Nm torque, paired to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox. The off-roading gear includes the company’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system, and brake-limited slip differential.

The launch of the Maruti Jimny is expected in May 2023, with the price starting around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
