Bridgestone tyres, world’s largest tyre manufacturer, has outshone its rivals by emerging as the top Original Equipment Manufacturer for the year 2018. The Japanese tyre brand achieved this feat by becoming official tyre supplier for more than 120 original equipment fitments in Europe, Middle East Asia and Africa regions.

Past few years have seen Bridgestone innovating heavily and coming up with B-Silent range (comfort oriented tyres), Ologic (the fuel efficient tyres) and have improved their Run-flat series. The company also created homologated products, tailored to suit the needs of various auto manufacturers. One such innovation is the low-wear Nano Pro Tech developed to be used in Audi Q3. Other areas of innovation include highly dispersible silica compounds, new tread patterns, cavity shapes as well as optimised skin depth.
