The MT-09 ABS motorcycle will come equipped with Bridgestone’s BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tires
Bridgestone announced that its BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tires have been selected as original equipment on the 2021 Yamaha MT-09 ABS motorcycle revealed this month.
Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tires are engineered to provide enhanced dry grip, light handling and wet performance. These features highlight the performance of the Yamaha MT-09 ABS and allow riders to have peace of mind when encountering a range of road and weather conditions, said the tyre maker in a press release.
The 2021 MT-09 ABS is equipped with a powerful engine and nimble handling aimed at improving the overall driving experience. This fitment is part of a long-term collaboration in which Bridgestone has delivered its premium line of tires for a wide range of Yamaha motorcycles.

The company also said that the 2021 Yamaha TRACER 9 ABS and TRACER 9 GT ABS will come equipped with Bridgestone BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32 tires which are engineered to provide enhanced grip and adhesion, reducing the tire's slip ratio in wet and difficult conditions.
The Yamaha TRACER 9 motorcycle series are sport touring motorcycles designed to achieve a blend of both high performance and ride comfort. The 2021 TRACER 9 ABS and TRACER 9 GT ABS are some of the lightest weight bikes in its class, combining sport performance and functionality.
