CEAT adds new tyre to Mile XL range

Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT has introduced a new tyre in its range of Mile XL series that mainly caters to the commercial vehicles. This new product in Mile XL series is 155 D12 XL Rib size. This tyre will be available with all leading CEAT distributors pan India. This particular tyre will be targeted towards users of small commercial vehicles like Tata Ace and Mahindra Maxximo.

The 155 D12 Mile XL Rib is designed to have stiffer sidewalls and higher tread life even under loaded conditions. To accomplish this, CEAT engineers developed a continuous shoulder rib design which helps improving the mileage and retreadability of tyres.

Commenting on the launch, Nitish Bajaj, VP, Marketing, CEAT said, "With all its advanced features, we are confident that 155 D12 Mile XL Rib will cater to the requirements of our customers operating their business through small commercial vehicles. Our commitment is to ensure that our premium offering is made available to customers pan India through all leading CEAT dealerships."

The technologies implemented in the Mile XL Rib tyre ensure the tyre does not heat up excessively even at high speeds. This improves the tread life and more importantly, reduces the chance of tyre blowouts.
