Tyre manufacturer CEAT joined hands with Party Hard Drivers (PHD), a chauffeur service based out of Mumbai and Pune. The two organisations will collaborate on an initiative to make the Indian roads safer by reinstating their motto of safe driving, reducing drink-drive incidents and road mishaps. As a part of their plan, CEAT will be engaging with PHD customers through calls and SMS when they register to avail the latter's services.
The main target customers of Party Hard Drivers are the party-goers who want to be driven home safely after they are done with extra swig at the parties. The partnership between the two companies is based on the common value of safety. PHD aims to provide reliable and secure chauffeur service to their customers, offering the party-goers a choice to act responsibly.
Speaking on the initiative, Nitish Bajaj, VP, Marketing, CEAT Ltd said, "With increasing drink and drive instances in cities like Mumbai and Pune, increasing awareness on the importance of safety is clearly the need of the hour. We are yet again talking to the target audience, our core focus of staying safe while driving by associating with Party Hard Drivers. We hope to create a positive impact through this initiative."
Apart from this, CEAT had earlier promoted road safety through initiatives like Nation Wide Road Safety Drive DRIVE SAFE DAD during the road safety week. This program engaged more than 500 children in 5-10-year-old age group in Mumbai. The program aimed to educate kids about safe driving practices that kids shared further with their parents.
