CEAT has launched a new tyre size in its Mile XL and Mile XL ribes series for small commercial vehicles. The new tyre size - 205 D14 Mile XL - is claimed to be a premium tyre for the small CV segment. Further, CEAT says the new tyre is one of its kind and will be an upsize fitment for Ashok Leyland’s Dost which uses a 185 D14 as rear fitment.
The 205 D14 Mile XL is designed keeping in mind the needs and usage of the small CV segment. It has reinforced lugs with higher NSD (non-skid depth) to withstand toughest road conditions and allows higher load-carrying capacity. Additionally, it features better ventilated lugs and ETC (Equal Tension Casing) Technology in tyres that ensures cooler running at higher speeds while offering a high load capacity.
Commenting on the launch, Nitish Bajaj, VP, Marketing, CEAT Limited, said, “With all its advanced features, 205 D14 Mile XL is an upsize, sturdy and a robust option to 185 D14 size for customers operating their vehicles on heavy load. We, at CEAT, always strive to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction by providing the best quality product and a robust after-sales services.”
