Published On 06-Jun-2016
The 2016 India Bike week witnessed around 12,000 motorcyclists having a good time. Most of them rode to Goa from all over India. Apart from attracting the Indian riders, many global tourists were also seen flocking the venue. CEAT saw a good opportunity to spread the word about rider safety.
The tyre manufacturer engaged the biking community with multiple initiatives. One of them was CEAT Adventure Zone that basically tested the physical endurance of the bikers keeping in mind all the necessary safety measures.
The ace rider CS Santhosh also participated in the safety session where the audience could interact with him. Since Pirelli is now distributing Pirelli and Metzeler tyres in India, those were also showcased.
The company also setup booths for free nitrogen gas filling to spread awareness about the benefits of using nitrogen and ensure safe riding experience.

The company has been conducting lots of safety initiatives lately. Some of the recently-conducted initiatives includes nation-wide road safety drive Drive Safe Dad. The kid edutainment chain KidZania tied up with CEAT and more than 500 children aged 5-10 years in Mumbai participated in it.
The campaign educated children on the nuances of safe driving in a fun way. Apart from this, the tyre manufacturer also runs a programme called Swayam which trains and empowers economically less-privileged women in driving skills.
