CEAT rider bags Best Lady Rider award at 2015 Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally

The 2015 Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally has been concluded. Held in Belapur in Navi Mumbai, the scooter rally saw participation from 47 riders across the country this year. At the event, Nidhi Shukla representing CEAT team won the title of Best Lady Driver whereas the tyre manufacturer’s other team members Pinkesh Thakkar and Manjit Singh won the S1: Above 80 upto 110cc - Two Stroke and S2: Above 110 upto 160cc - Two Stroke category, respectively.
CEAT also bagged the Best Bhopal Rider and Best Nashik Rider awards as Muzaafar Ali and Amit Belgaonkar were adjudged winners for the above two cities, respectively.
The 2015 Gulf Monsoon Rally kick-started from K-star in Belapur and back, covering 30km full of difficult terrains and challenging landscapes. The rally was divided in 3 stages. Starting from the flag off point, the riders made their way to Navi Mumbai region where a special rally route had been laid out in the hilly terrain. The route comprised of mud, gravel, stone, peaks, slush, hard rocky terrain and sudden drops. Each rider had to complete 3 laps of the stages that were made through the hills before the finishing line.
