CEAT launches CEAT Shoppe in Kolkata

Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT has aggressive growth plans to expand its exclusive network in India. As a part of those plans, the company launched a CEAT Shoppe in Salt Lake, Kolkata. Like the other CEAT Shoppe, this outlet will also provide one-stop solution for car owners. The customers will be offered a wide range of services that encompass all tyre-related services. From all the latest equipment available, the highlight is on the advanced automatic 3-D wheel alignment, wheel balancing, automatic tyre changer and nitrogen inflator.

The inauguration for this store was done by Arnab Banerjee, full-time Director on the board of the company. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Owing to the great response we have received in the region, we decided to increase our presence here. With this development, we now have a total of six CEAT Shoppes across Kolkata. CEAT has always aimed at providing world-class services to its customers and we are confident that we will be able to live up to that commitment with the help of our well-trained and qualified staff and best- in-class facilities.”

The CEAT Shoppe is designed according to international design standards and is said to be the first in low involvement category like tyres.

CEAT is the flagship brand of RPG Enterprises, which was established in 1958. CEAT's tyre range is available in many international markets and its product line-up includes tyres for heavy-duty trucks, auto-rickshaws, cars and earth-movers among others. The company's manufacturing capacity is 700 tonnes per day. CEAT enjoys a large chunk of market share for light truck and truck tyre segment.
