Citroen has expanded its lineup of value-oriented vehicles by launching the all-new C3 Aircross midsize SUV. To be offered in three variants – You, Plus and Max, the Citroen C3 Aircross range starts at Rs 9.99 lakh. While the base platform and powertrain of the C3 Aircross have been shared with the C3 hatchback, there are significant changes between both vehicles, including the tyre sizes and feature lists.

All three variants of the Citroen C3 Aircross have been equipped with 17-inch wheels, which are steel units in the base-spec You and mid-spec Plus variants and machined alloys in the top-spec Max variant. In all these three variants of the C3 Aircross, Citroen has chosen 215/60 R17 CEAT SecuraDrive SUV tyres as standard.

The cabin of the Citroen C3 Aircross also feels a bit basic, with it getting only a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch full-TFT instrument console and audio and Bluetooth controls on the tilt-adjustable steering wheel. It tries to be distinctive with roof-mounted AC vents, a class-leading wheelbase of 2671mm and a 5+2 seating layout. 

The safety features offered in the Citroen C3 Aircross are dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors and camera, hill hold assist, electronic stability program and tyre pressure monitoring system.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Engine & Specifications

The Citroen C3 Aircross shares its 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with the C3 hatchback. Here also, this engine produces 110 PS of maximum power and 190 Nm of maximum torque, while being paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, which is offered as the standard choice of gearbox in all of its three variants. However, Citroen has hinted that it will be introducing a torque converter in later stages.
