German tyre maker Continental has signed a multi-year deal with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) to become its ‘official tyre’. In addition to this, the tyre maker is also the presenting sponsor of Safe Haven, a child volunteer safety program.
Commenting on the development, Travis Roffler, Director of Marketing for Continental Tire, said, “Soccer is a global platform for Continental and youth soccer is the next piece of the puzzle for us. We are especially excited to sponsor the Safe Haven program as safety is at the core of our business. We look forward to sharing with the parents of AYSO important tips to keep their families safe while driving their kids to and from practice.”

AYSO is quite a famous entity in the US with over 500,000 million players and over six million alumni. In their newly-announced deal, Continental will place its branding signage at events and on all AYSO registration television commercials seen this year on the Fox Sports network.
