Cooper, Bridgestone, Goodyear Lauded For LGBTQ Equality

Cooper received a 100 score in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equity Index, while Bridgestone and Goodyear scores 90 each
Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc., Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and Goodyear have scored high marks for their workplace effort regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) equality.
Findlay, Ohio-based Cooper Tire received a 100 score in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equity Index, while Bridgestone and Goodyear scores 90 each.
"Cooper is committed to creating an environment that promotes diversity and inclusion for our employees and communities," CEO Brad Hughes said. "We believe all employees should feel welcome, respected and valued for who they are."

The index considers a variety of matters in determining corporate scores, including non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, and organizational competency and accountability regarding LGBTQ diversity and inclusion.
