Cooper Tires Designates Ben Patel As New CTO And SVP

Ben shifted his career in Cooper Tyre after serving at Tenneco, Inc. for almost eight years as Vice President for Global Research and Development in the Global Clean Air Division
The American tyremaker, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company has designated Ben Patel as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Vice President. Patel is now liable for product development and planning in his new role. Moreover, he will also take care of technology and engineering across all regions. He will also supervise a technology firm that comprises the global technology hub as well as technical hubs located in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Ben shifted his career in Cooper Tyre after serving at Tenneco, Inc. for almost eight years as Vice President for Global Research and Development in the Global Clean Air Division. He assisted in generating innovative products for global commercial and light vehicle consumers to comply with performance and environmental norms. Talking about his educational qualifications, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa in Chemistry and also has a Ph.D. from Yale University in Chemistry. Patel also received an award in 2017 called Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 2017 Rising Star Award.
Earlier in his profession, Patel contributed 12 years at General Electric (GE) in technical positions of progressing liability, which includes Senior Research Scientist within the Chemical and Polymer Technology Laboratory at GE’s Global Research Center. In addition to that, he is an experienced technology head with an experience of more than 20 years.
