Fleeca India Might Introduce EV Chargers At its Tyre Service Hubs

A tyre management startup, Fleeca, is looking forward to setting up electric vehicle charging hubs across its service stations by 2022 as a part of new market entry strategy and diversification. This brand provides tyre inspection based on AI and loT, refurbishing and retreading for all kind of commercial vehicles. It currently functions with 55 service stations deployed on Delhi-Mumbai highway. This highway incorporates nine states including Delhi-NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh.

Fleeca aims to extend its numbers of outlets to 1,500 for Pan India coverage in the succeeding two years. CEO and founder of Fleeca India, Tikam Chand Jain said “Within two year our prime focus will be to finalise the apt power source for charging stations and develop the essential R&D. By the end of 2019, we will touch 255 outlets, and in the coming two years we are eyeing to cross more than 1500 Fleeca centres on the highways which will be equipped with EV charging facilities.”

He further added that the brand had classified a bunch of highways such as Kolkata-Mumbai, Delhi-Kolkata, Delhi-Indore, and Mumbai-Bangalore to increase its presence in the nation. Moreover, they are planning to establish Fleeca charging hubs at every 50-100 km.

Apart from setting up EV chargers, Fleeca India is also working on unique business models like evolving technology based on AI and IoT product to foretell the mileage of tyres and ‘cost-per-km’. Currently, the brand is scrutinising about 50,000 units of tyres every month and retreading more than 400 units. CEO informed that their focus would be to grow business verticals to serve onboard new customers as well as preserving the existing ones.
