Hankook to showcase new snow tyre at Frankurt Motor Show

Japanese tyre manufacturer Hankook Tire will showcase its multiple concepts at the 66th International Motor Show (IAA) to be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 15-27, 2015. Hankook is known to be the world's fastest-growing tyre manufacturer and ranks at fifth place in the list of world's largest tyre producers by volume. Moreover, the company is Original Equipment supplier to many premium automobile brands such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Porsche.

Hankook will be present at Hall 8 booth D36/F36 where it will focus on exhibiting its newly-developed winter tyre line-up for the European markets. This new generation winter tyre is named as 'i*cept' and has been specially-developed for central and western European winters conditions. i*cept is equipped with new silica compound and asymmetric tread design that is optimised for performing in snow.

Hankook will unveil its latest winter tyre i*cept evo2 that delivers enhanced performance in snow and superior grip in wet and dry conditions. The new tyre will be offered with W speed rating (270kmph) and in additional to that, a special version will be offered for modern SUVs.

Hankook will also use driving simulator (Next Driving Lab) to give visitors a chance to witness the driving experience of the future. In addition to this, the tyre marque will also showcase its concept tyre range that includes Bootstrac, Alpine and hyBlade.
