The power to run comes from the 6kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) electric motor, coupled with a 3.7kWh Lithium-ion battery and Battery Management System (BMS), producing 26Nm torque. With the complete charge, the scooter claims a healthy range of 105km (Eco mode), 85km (Ride mode), 75km (Sport mode) and 65km (Warp mode), respectively.

The e-scooter is available with both home-charging and public fast charging options, with the former taking 5 hours 40 minutes for a complete charge, and the latter taking 1 min for a 1km charge. The Ather 450X is configured on precision machined hybrid chassis and rides on telescopic forks upfront and symmetrically mounted progressive mono-shock at the rear, with disc brakes at both ends.

The Ather 450X is currently available in six graceful colour options, including Space Grey, Salt Green, Still White, True Red, Lunar Grey and Cosmic Black. The scooter competes against Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 Pro,  Vida V1 and TVS iQube Electric in the segment.
