Published On 03-Jan-2022
For your beloved Audi A4, you need to have the right set of tyres to ensure it delivers optimum performance. Here are the tyre replacement options for the A4 sedan.
The Audi A4 was the most affordable sedan in India from the German luxury marquee before the launch of the A3. It was given an update in January this year, which further pushed the lavish statement of the A4. The premium sedan continues to offer impressive performance, comfortable interiors and sober looks in its 2021 avatar.
Interestingly, it was discontinued for a brief period in 2020 when the BS6 mandate came into effect. The biggest change in the facelift Audi A4 is the new 2.0-litre BS6 turbo-petrol engine. Apart from this, there are subtle changes inside and out that make the car more comfortable, silent, smarter and better cruiser compared to its predecessor.
The new Audi A4 is offered in three variants – Premium, Premium Plus and Technology. It is available in 5 shades including Mythos Black Metallic, Ibis White, Terra Gray Metallic, Floret Silver Metallic and Navarra Blue Metallic.
In terms of the exterior changes, the A4 sedan gets redesigned front bumper, a new set of LED headlamps and a wider grille. The long side profile gets a broken shoulder line along with 17-inch alloy wheels. At the back, it houses new LED tail lamps, redesigned rear bumper and a nice looking exhaust muffler.
Inside the A4, it’s all plush. Although the set-up remains the same as earlier, it gets a new steering wheel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The chocolate brown dual-tone interior theme is complemented by the intelligent use of piano black inserts. There is adequate use of soft-touch plastic to imbibe the regal feel. Being a car of 2021, Audi has embraced the A4 with the connected car tech which can be accessed via its official My Audi application.
In terms of features, it gets an electric sunroof, a three-zone climate control, gesture-controlled boot opening, Audi phone box with wireless charging, electrically adjustable front seats and many more.
The newly added 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine puts max power of 190PS along with a peak torque of 320Nm. It is linked to a 12V mild-hybrid system. Doing the transmission duty is the 7-speed DSG gearbox which comes with paddle shifters and a manual mode for an engaging drive. It sprints from 0-100 kmph in mere 7.3 seconds with a top whack of 241kmph – making it the fastest A4 yet in India.
