Bajaj Chetak is powered by a BLDC electric powertrain, linked to a 60.3Ah lithium-ion battery, producing 4kW of power and 16Nm torque. The combination of both these offers a range of 95km in the Eco mode and 85km in Sport mode. The battery can be topped up completely, using a 5A power socket in 5 hours, while 25 per cent of charge can be done in just an hour.
The scooter is suspended on a single-sided trailing link upfront and mono-shock at the rear, with the braking duties handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. The scooter is available in a single variant and four colour options. The scooter competes against Ola S1, TVS iQube Electric and Ather 450X in the segment.
