Published On 06-Jul-2021
Dominar is the flagship range of motorcycles known for aggressive looks and powerful engines. Below are the right tyre replacements options for this mean machine.
Mention the name Bajaj and the first thing that comes to mind is ‘Pulsar’. But in recent years, Bajaj has carved a special category having attributes like aggressive looks, top-notch hardware and lots of performance. Hence, Dominar came into existence.
First launched in the year 2016 with a 373cc engine, the Dominar 400 checked a lot of boxes. But the real impression this range of bikes has put up on the masses was when the company decided to launch a smaller 250cc engine model.
The Dominar has one of the strongest fan-following especially from aficionados fond of long-distance cruises. Both the bikes come with cutting edge technology and class-leading features, which are designed to redefine the riding experience.
The ‘Dominar’ nameplate has two BS6 engine options; the 248.77cc single-cylinder 4-stroke Twin-spark motor making 27PS and 23.5Nm of torque, and the 373cc single-cylinder 4-stroke with Triple Spark technology producing 40PS and 35Nm of max torque. Both the models use a 6-speed gearbox for transmitting power.
Dominar receives a single variant, one each in both the 250cc and 400cc models. However, apart from the engines, the paint scheme differs in both models. In Bajaj Dominar 250, you will find Canyon Red and Charcoal Black options, whereas, Bajaj Dominar 400 is made available with Aurora Green and Vine Black body paints.
