Here Are The Best Tyres For Honda Grazia
Published On 02-Feb-2022
The Honda Grazia was one of the pioneering scooters in the premium and sporty segment of 125cc scooters. Here’s a comprehensive look at all the tyre options you can have for this scooter.
The segment of four-stroke automatic scooters was pioneered by the Honda Activa, which was brought as a simple and reliable 100cc scooter. The Activa received an update with a 110cc engine, and the segment was soon accompanied by several other scooters with 110cc engines.
It was during this time that the 125cc scooter segment was just initiated by the Suzuki Access - an affordable unisex scooter with a humble design and mechanicals. Something was missing in the premium end of the 125cc scooter with sportiness in its overall appeal, and it is when the Honda Grazia stepped into the Indian market
The Honda Grazia came in as Honda’s most premium scooter for India – a title that it continues to hold. With a sharp design and premium features like a fully digital instrument console, all-LED headlamp, and alloy wheels, the Honda Grazia instantly became popular among those younger buyers, who wanted the reliability and peace of mind associated with the Honda badge, but in a sharper looking scooter.
The Honda Grazia received a comprehensive update in 2021, which saw the scooter receiving subtle tweaks to its design and mechanicals under the skin.
The scooter received flashier dual-tone colour options with graphics, tweaked LED headlamp and tail lamp, redesigned handlebar cowl with daytime running LED and split pillion grab rail. It also got a few additional features like an idling start-stop system, external fuel filler, integrated pass flasher switch and side stand engine cut-off.
The BS6 version of the four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected, 123.97cc engine of the Honda Grazia produces 8.25 PS of power and 10.25 Nm of torque. The scooter comes with a 12-inch alloy wheel, 190mm disc brake and hydraulic telescopic forks at the front, whereas at the rear, it has a 10-inch alloy wheel, 130mm drum brake and single-sided coil spring.
The Honda Grazia is on sale in two different variants – one with a front disc brake and one with a front drum brake. Both these variants are available in one of the four colour options of Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Night Star Black and Sports Red. While the drum brake variant is priced at Rs 78,389, the more premium disc brake variant can be all yours for Rs 85,714.
