Here Are The Best Tyres For Jawa Perak
Published On 19-May-2022
The Jawa Jawa Perak is a cruiser cum custom bobber motorcycle with gorgeous looks and a powerful engine. For those who are searching for replacement tyres for this bike, here are the best alternatives.
Some brands take brave decisions no matter the result, and Czech motorcycle manufacturer Jawa is one such example. The brand was resurrected in the Indian market in 2018 with the launch of new models, including the Perak, a bobber version of the standard Jawa.
The bold decision of the company can be seen in the fact that while introducing the Perak in the market, it took an uncompromised approach to the styling. Being a strict single-seater without much in the feature department to boast of and a high price tag, it has everything that a cool custom motorcycle can offer.
The Perak is a head-turner, and the eye-catching sensational design can force anyone to stop on the road and stare at it for a moment. The bike features the bobber styling elements in the form of a low-slung with floating seat, chopped front fenders, bar-end mirrors, and stubby exhaust mufflers.
The motorcycle comes with an all-black treatment, a traditional rounded headlamp, spoke wheels, and a LED taillight, which is neatly integrated into the back of the seat, whereas the indicators are mounted on the rear fenders.
The minimalistic instrument console features only the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The Jawa Perak is equipped with swingarm construction like the ‘swing cage’ unit seen in the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. It lets the rear mono-shock be nicely hidden beneath the rider’s seat.
The suspension setup comprises a double-cradle frame with telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear with 7-step preload adjustability. The braking mechanism consists of disc brakes at both the front and rear ends, with standard dual-channel ABS further providing additional safety under panic braking.
The power to run comes from the 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 30.64PS and 32.74Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The company has also tweaked the gear ratios for a better riding experience. The closest rival to Jawa Perak in the Indian market is the Royal Enfield Classic 350, while it also challenges Benelli Imperiale 400. The Perak is available in a single trim and only a sole black colour option.
Jawa Perak Tyres & Wheels
At present, the Jawa Perak front and rear tyres come in the sizes of 100/90-18 and 140/70-17 radials. The tyres give the bike a bulky look and are meant for providing immaculate driving control, comfort, and safety and offer overall ride quality on any given road conditions. The tyres are tailored to provide exceptional ride quality and superior traction on dry and wet surfaces, apart from handling the road bumps and everyday city manoeuvrability with ease.

Further, the solid rubber compound makes them puncture-resistant while guaranteeing assistance at corners. The tyres, apart from providing optimal balance, rigidity and strength, are complemented by the stylish looking blackened spoke wheels, which also contribute to handling and stability, especially at high speeds.
