If there is one motorcycle to name that turned the fortunes of Suzuki in India, it would be none other than Gixxer. The sports motorcycle series has been a hot favourite in the Indian market for over half a decade and still the craze for this motorcycle is unmatchable. The bike over the years has gone through several enhancements with the latest version launched in 2020 with the BS6 engine.

The Suzuki Gixxer is available in four different models; Gixxer 150, Gixxer 150 SF, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250 SF with the latter two being the fully-faired versions. In terms of power, the Gixxer 150 series comes with a 155cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 13.6PS and 13.8Nm torque, paired to a 5-speed gearbox, while the Gixxer 250 is equipped with a 250cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that pumps out 26.5PS and 22.2Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. 

The suspension duties in all the models are handled by 41mm large front forks and a seven-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Where Gixxer 150 and 150 SF models come with Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue colours, the 250 models can be availed in Metallic Matte Black No.2 and Metallic Triton Blue body paints.

With punchy engines and streetfighter ergonomics, the Gixxer promises to deliver a dynamic performance that is further complemented by a softly sprung suspension setup and wider tyres. The tyres of the Gixxer 150 series comes in the sizes of 100/80-17 for the front and 140/60 R17 for the rear. Similarly, the elder sibling Gixxer 250 series sports 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17 sized tyres for front and rear respectively.
