New Adventure Editions of Creta and Alcazar get a new Ranger Khakhi paint shade and an all-black interior with Sage Green accents. We get all the details of the tyres and wheels of the Hyundai Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition:

• The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition gets 215/60 R17 tyres from the SX and SX (O) variants of the Creta, on which it is based. 
• The Hyundai Alcazar Adventure Edition comes with 215/55 R18 tyres, which are also there in the Platinum and Signature (O) variants of the SUV.
• The Adventure Edition of both these SUVs comes in a new dual-tone Ranger Khakhi paint shade and an all-black interior with sage green accents.
• The additional features introduced in the Adventure Edition of both the SUVs are a dashcam, red brake callipers and silver pedals. 
  
  

Hyundai has launched a new Adventure Edition of its popular SUVs, Creta and Alcazar. With minor cosmetic tweaks inside-out, the new Creta and Alcazar Adventure editions are based on the top-spec variants of their standard versions. The Creta Adventure Edition has been priced between Rs 15.17 lakh to Rs 17.89 lakh, the Alcazar Adventure Edition is priced between Rs 19.04 lakh to Rs 21.04 lakh. 

Here, we bring all the details of the tyre options and cosmetic changes and add-ons introduced in this new premium edition of Creta and Alcazar SUVs: 

Tyres & Wheels

The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition gets the same JK UX Royale tyres in the 215/60 R17 tyre size from the SX and SX (O) variants of the SUV. On the other hand, the Hyundai Alcazar Adventure Edition has been launched with Apollo Apterra Cross tyres in 215/55 R18 tyre size, which is available in the Platinum and Signature (O) variants of the SUV.

 JK UX Royale

The JK UX Royale offered in Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition features an aero-wing design and stable shoulder tread blocks, which assure high-speed stability. At such higher speeds, the multi-pitch sequence and optimized footprint pressure distribution ensure a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The asymmetric tread pattern, dual radius profile and wide longitudinal grooves increase grip levels of this tyre on wet surfaces while reducing braking distances. 

Apollo Apterra Cross

The Apollo Apterra Cross on offer in the Hyundai Alcazar Adventure Edition has a twin steel belt with JCP protection for enhanced mileage, durability and puncture resistance. The block-based design of its tread increases grip on flat stretches, while the connected shoulder blocks ensure better grip around corners. The rounder contact patch and extended lateral grooves reduce road noise and increase the ride comfort of the SUV.

Exterior & Interior 

There are a host of minor tweaks which have been introduced in the Adventure Edition version of the Creta and Alcazar. The Adventure Edition in both the SUVs is available in two dual-tone shades of Ranger Khakhi with black roof and Atlas White with black roof, with an additional Titan Grey with the black roof available for the Alcazar Adventure Edition.

The other prime changes and additions in the Creta and Alcazar Adventure Edition are a blacked-out treatment for the grille, front and rear skid plates, fog lamp housings, rearview mirrors and alloy wheels. It also gets ‘Adventure’ badges on front fenders, special mats, dashcam, silver foot pedals and an all-black interior with Sage Green highlights around AC vents and switches and contrast Sager Green stitching on the seats.

Engine & Specs

The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition is available in two petrol-powered variants, SX manual and SX (O) CVT, both of which get the 1.5-litre 115 PS naturally-aspirated petrol engine. On the other hand, the Hyundai Alcazar Adventure Edition is offered in four variants – Platinum petrol MT, Platinum diesel MT, Signature (O) petrol-DCT and Signature (O) diesel-automatic. While the petrol variants get a 1.5-litre 160 PS turbocharged petrol engine, the diesel variants have a 1.5-litre 115 PS diesel engine under their hood. 

The transmission options on offer are a 6-speed manual on the Creta SX manual and the Platinum variants of Alcazar, CVT in the Creta SX (O) CVT, 7-speed DCT in Alcazar Signature (O) petrol and 6-speed torque converter in Signature (O) diesel.
