Indian tyre manufacturer JK Tyre and Industries Ltd. has bagged the Brand of the Year award at the World’s Branding Awards Ceremony held at Kensington Palace in London.
A total of 118 brands from 30 countries were awarded during this ceremony and interestingly, JK Tyre was the only Indian manufacturer to be selected in the tyre category. The homegrown tyre maker is growing at a rapid rate and it is also a major force behind the growth of motorsports in India. The company currently has 6 manufacturing plants in India and additional 3 plants in Mexico. The cumulative manufacturing capacity is around 20 million tyres per year. Moreover, the company has a global presence in 100 countries across 6 continents.
