Maxxis Tyres has been rapidly expanding its network in India. On-boarding of dealers on their portfolio has shown a high growth rate, with over 1,000 dealers becoming part of the network in less than one year. Maxxis further plans to strengthen these connections by organising regular meetings with the dealers. A recent such meeting was conducted in Bengaluru for the dealers of Karnataka.
The core objective behind this meet was to acquaint dealers with the wide range of Maxxis tyres. A key focal area here was also the 5+1 unconditional warranty that Maxxis offers on two-wheeler tyres.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Bing-Lin Wu, Retail Sales Head, Maxxis India, said, “Fuelled by the robust automobile sales, the tyre market has been witnessing a spur in demand. We have created a steady presence in Karnataka region with a network of around 50 dealer partners and 16 dealers in Bangalore alone. Our objective is to keep the momentum going and capture at least 15% of India’s 2-wheeler tyre market by 2023.”
Mr. Po-Yu (Jeremy) Hsu, Assistant Vice President, Service, Maxxis India said, “Maxxis has set high standards in providing benchmarked product quality and customer service globally. Customer focus remains a key driver for all our initiatives and we are committed to delivering to our customers in India the same world-class products and services that they expect and deserve. The meet gave us a great platform to communicate Maxxis’ highest service quality to our dealer partners.”
Leading the consortium of dealers was KBG Intertrade Pvt Ltd., Maxxis Tyres’ chief distributor for the Southern India region, and Cherry Agencies Pvt Ltd, sub distributor for Maxxis in Bengaluru region. The brand had conducted a dealers meet on similar lines in Trichy a few weeks back.
