Michelin launches Pilot Power 3, Pilot Road 4 superbike tyres in India

Responding to the increasing demand for superbike tyres in India, Michelin has launched the Pilot Power 3 and Pilot Road 4 tyres in India.

Considering that several manufacturers like Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia, Benelli and Honda are offering their superbikes in India, both of these tyres are designed to deliver high-performance for motorcycles with engine capacity of over 600cc. Users of high-performance motorcycles can pick from one of these two tyres depending upon their usage.

Pilot Road 4: The Pilot Road 4 tyre delivers enhanced safety in all situations and an extended tyre life. This tyre features XST+ technology, specially designed for outstanding wet weather braking and helps the motorcycle stop faster on wet pavements and slippery surfaces. The Pilot Road 4 also features Michelin’s 2CT technology with 100 per cent silica compounds for optimum balance between grip and longevity.

Pilot Power 3: The Pilot Power 3 tyre will cater to sport motorcycles. It is developed to primarily be used on the road. However, this tyre can also deliver an exciting ride on the race track. Developed with a combination of 2CT and 2CT+ technology, it offers more stability when cornering, especially under strong acceleration. The tyre offers enhanced safety and performance with its unique tread design that gives the Pilot Power 3 best-in-class wet braking while delivering stability on steep angles without compromising the pace.
