Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres to feature in Porsche Cayman GT4

Porsche AG will be fitting all its models with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance tyres that has been developed under Michelin's Total Performance strategy.
Right from the launch of the Cayman GT4, the German luxury carmaker will equip the coupe with the Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance tyres - the 245/35 ZR20 (91Y) TL N0 for the front and 295/30 ZR20 (101Y) XL TL N0 for the rear.
The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance car tyres are specially designed for high performance cars and has been used on the recent Porsche models like 918 Spyder and GT3.
The Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres can last for 50 percent longer on the track as compared to the outgoing model Pilot Sport Cup+. It provides faster lap time as it has been incorporated with technology developed in motorsport like the Le Mans 24 hours race.
The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance tyres are made of bi-compound technology - rubber compound on the inner wall of the tyre and sections of the tread for the outer surface, with Track Variable Contact Patch 3.0 (optimizes pressure in the tyre's contact patch in all driving conditions).
Furthermore, Michelin has also signed a deal with porsche to supply winter tyres for the Cayman GT4 lineup, in order to ensure good performance. These tyres come in 235/35R20 92V XLTL Pilot Alpin 4 N0 and 275/30R20 97V XLTL Pilot Alpin 4 N0.
