MRF bags 3 yr contract with Australian Rally Championship as official tyre supplier

MRF tyres, India's prominent tyre maker, has bagged a 3 year contract with CAMS Australian Rally Championship ( ARC ) as the official tyre supplier. Starting from 2017, this association, which would continue till 2019, is another such achievement for MRF after it became the official tyre supplier for Queensland Rally championship in the year 2016.
Participating teams of ARC would be supplied with MRF tyres through Mentor Tyres, the exclusive importer of MRF tyres for Australia and New Zealand.
Vivek Ponnusamy, CEO, Mentor Tyres, said that MRF is committed to all forms of Motorsport in Australia with a long term view point.
“MRF Tyres has a strong passion in motor sport and cannot wait in becoming a part of the Australian Rally Championship® for the next three years,” Vivek said.

ARC is the premier rally championship in Australia and consists of 6 rounds. The first leg of the rally would commence on 17th of March with the Eureka Rally in Victoria. Final round of the race would be the Kennards Hire Rally Australia at New South Wales, from 16th to 19th November.
