“CEAT SecuradDrive tyres offer superior wet and dry traction, thanks to the innovative silica based tread compound. The tread pattern comes equipped with wide circumferential ribs that ensure excellent handling and precise steering response, even at high speeds ”
With the latest iteration of Verna, Hyundai has beefed up its emphasis on safety. Starting from the Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) Frame to equipping all the variants with Airbags, ABS& EBD, safety just doesn’t take the backseat.
Stretching its safety theme all the way down to the tarmac, the company laid keen stress on getting one of the most important components right- the tyres.
Hyundai partnered with CEAT to get the right set of tyres for its flagship vehicle and CEAT came up with nothing but the incredible from its arsenal- CEAT SecuraDrive.
The fact that CEAT SecuraDrive forms a part of CEAT tyres’ line-up for international market says a lot about the quality of the product. What more is that CEAT enhanced these tyres to suit the Indian road conditions, thereby making the them more durable whilst keeping safety and comfort at the forefront.
CEAT SecuraDrive tyres offer superior wet and dry traction, thanks to the innovative silica based tread compound. The tread pattern comes equipped with wide circumferential ribs that ensure excellent handling and precise steering response, even at high speeds.
Complimenting the high power surge of the Verna, the strong shoulder ribs and wide contact patch help with the cornering capabilities. But the robust construction ensures a supple ride quality for comfortable journeys.
CEAT rigorously tested the tyres across various parameters so as to come up with the product that would enhance Verna’s performance and compliment the handling dynamics.
The wide circumferential grooves and sipes effectively displace water to prevent aquaplaning and improve overall wet performance.
The E and EX variants would come shod with tyres in 185/65 R15 size, the higher-end SX and SX(O) trims would ride on 195/55 R16 size tyres.
While to most of us tyres are nothing but black-round-rubber, they actually play a very important role in determining the safety, handling and comfort in the vehicle.
So, the next time you want to compromise on tyres just to save some money, take cognizance of the fact that tyres are the only thing that come in contact with the ground and we are sure you will definitely hesitate from putting them on the back burner.
