Nokian Tyres Inaugurates Its First US Plant In Tennessee

Nokian Tyres is a premium tyre manufacturer that builds tyre to provide peace of mind to the drivers in every terrain. It has officially opened its first North American production factory in Dayton. The plant is built on an 830,000-square-foot complex and is one of the most advanced tyre production factories in the entire industry.

With the opening of this plant, the brand will produce nearly four million tyres per year if the factory reaches its limits. Moreover, if that happens, then the company will hire approximately 400 workers, which will offer a significant economic boost to the people living in the north of Chattanooga. Currently, the factory is in its initial production stage and will be set to produce tyres in early 2020.

The tyremaker invented the all-weather and winter tyres, which was founded and headquartered in Finland. It continues to design and manufacture premium products for the majority of passenger segments. The brand aims to satisfy growing North American demand for all-weather tyres at the Dayton factory.
