Rivigo Associates With JK Tyre To Introduce Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Rivigo has informed in a release that they have partnered with JK Tyres & Industries to propose TREEL Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in India in the commercial vehicles. They also claimed that this is an industry-first partnership towards the tech-logistics firm to present a tyre management solution to fleet buyers in the country. Under this partnership, the tyres manufactured by JK tyres will come equipped with patented tyre pressure monitoring system technology that will transfer seamless live data at periodic intervals to observe the status of tyres every few seconds, declares Rivigo.

It also states that the TPMS technology will seize data linking to tyre pressure and temperature via advance algorithms and permit alerts in case of pilferage and when the tyres are demounted from vehicles. These data will determine the correlation between temperature and tyre pressure and will assist in foretelling tyre life. The pattern of the data will give insights for the wear pattern on tyres, supporting to predict cases of a flat tyre or burst chance in real-time. This technology can also specify threshold operating conditions, creating real-time alerts for maintaining the precise tyre pressure.

"At Rivigo, we have always believed that IoT and data science are keys to smart and intelligent tracking solutions. We are proud to partner with JK Tyre & Industries Ltd to create the future of tyre management through IoT. Over the years, we have come up with the science to turn trucks into IoT-enabled vehicles using technologies to track truck vitals, including fuel, driving behaviours and safety. The learnings through data on tyre performance will help manufacture better tyres for Indian roads." said Vibhanshu Abhishek, Head of Data and AI at Rivigo.
