TVS Srichakra Launches New Tyre Brand

The Chennai based tyre brand TVS Srichakra has launched a new tyre brand, TVS Europgrip on August 20. The two and three-wheeler tyre maker has finally done away with its tag of domestic producers as well by launching the new international tyre brand. Under the umbrella of the new brand, the company is launching 19 premium quality tyres that also include industry-leading zero-degree steel-belted radial tyres.

Talking to the media, the director of TVS Srichakra, P. Vijayaraghavan said, "While we have been known for our quality and reliability, we wanted to move to the next level by appealing to millennial customers. TVS Eurogrip will position itself as a sporty, innovative and global brand." He also said, "The rider today wants to live every moment to the fullest, impress his peers, and go beyond the normal. TVS Eurogrip's brand idea of 'Outlive, Outperform & Outdo' is based on this insight. As specialists in the bike tyre domain, we are geared up to lead our customers into the future of riding, with our range of technologically advanced and high-performance TVS Eurogrip tyres." The company will offer two-wheeler tyres for 70cc and 310cc for now under the new umbrella.

The Chief engineers of TVS Srichakra remarked that the company also has Japanese engineers in their 120 odd people working tirelessly for the company in their R&D operations. The 2,393 Crore rupees company also has a testing track in Madurai for the tyres they produce. P Srinivasavaradhan, president of the company, remarked that the test tracks are getting ready for high-speed machines.
