Yokohama aiming at better sales in India with its 50th Yokohama Club Network

Aiming at a bigger market share in the competitive tyre market of India, Japanese tyre maker Yokohama Tire Corporation has extensive plans in its strategic lineup. With a view to tap on a wider consumer base, the company recently opened its 50th Yokohama Club Network (YCN).
A quintessential part of Yokohama Tire's strategy in the country, YCN is a specialized retail store extending company's initiative at providing customers with great buying experience.
Sanjay Chatterjee, Chief General Manager, Yokohama India Pvt Ltd said, “With the opening of this store Yokohama has further strengthened its position in India. This milestone takes us one step further to our endeavor to give a complete range of Yokohama Tyres in one place for a wholesome buying experience.”
Yokohama has been aggressively focusing on Indian market and has more than 825 point of sales in India along with 50 Yokohama Club Networks.
R Mohan Raj, Owner of Shri Wheel Alignments (the 50th YCN), said, “ We decided to go for Yokohama because of the superior market reputation the company has in terms of technology in making its reliable Tyres and also the increasing demand for the Yokohama Earth 1, tyres specially made for Indian road conditions.”
This YCN is located at a prime location on Avinashi Road, connecting Tirupur, Eros, Salem and Bangalore highway. Other than providing new tyres, this YCN would also offer services such as Wheel Alignment and Balancing, Tyre rotation, Nitrogen Filling etc.
