Yokohama has released two new tyres in the Indian market, the Advan V105 and Geolandar SUV. Yokohama partnered with one of the leading automotive manufacturers to develop Advan Sport V105 tyre that controls excessive heat for wet grip and long mileage.
The tyre maker utilises its unique Orange Oil technology in both Advan Sport V105 and Geolandar SUV tyres. This produces nano blend of three performance factors which are fuel efficiency, superior wet grip and longer tread life. Moreover, an additional benefit of this technology is that petroleum oils have been removed from tyre construction process.
Sanjay Chatterjee, GM, Sales and Marketing, said, “V105 provides a unique blend of performance and comfort with its matrix body ply structure and mound profile blocks provide impeccable steering response and stability whereas silent sipe and asymmetrical pitch variation provides a quiet and comfortable ride.”
In some international markets, Advan Sport V105 has already been the choice of OEMs like Mercedes and Porsche.
“With sudden growth in city SUV segment, wherein motorist are looking for the stature of an SUV and dynamics of a car, Geolandar SUV, we believe, is the best available in the market.”
The fuel efficient profile of the Geolandar SUV not only saves fuel but also helps in reducing uneven wear due to stop-and-go city traffic conditions.
V105 is developed for luxury segment cars. Presently, the company has introduced four size in V105 series. However, it will expand to more than 13 size within this year.
