best tyre for skoda superb 2007.Should i keep 205/55 r 16 or change to 215/55 r16

Hi Kouru,

Michelin Primacy 3ST would be a good tyre to begin with. In case you want something that offers better ride comfort and very low tyre noise then Yokohama AVS DB V550 would be a very good tyre. Bridgestone Turanza GR90 wuld also be a very good option. It offers longer tread life as compared to Yokohama. In case you want tyres that are performance priented then Hankook Ventus V12 Evo would be a good option.

I think 205 is a good amount of width, so you do not have to upsize. However, if you want better grip and efficient braking then go with 215/55 R16.

Hi Naveen,

Generally tyres lasts for about 40,000-50,000 km. However this figure is just an estimated figure. Tyre wear depends on number of factors like your driving style, general maintenance like alignment/balancing and checking tyre pressures regularly.
