    Q.
Define the difference between wait grip & dry grip. What is the advantage & disadvantage ?
    A.

Dry grip comes into picture when the tread part, which is made of rubber compound hits the surface and develops friction, called grip/traction. Moreover, under wet conditions, only surface grip is not enough, scattering of water beneath the tyre is also must. Alongside, removal of water from tread part is essential too, to maintain constant grip. Hence there are tread grooves that channel water and continue gripping the surface even in wet. In India we usually drive under mixed road conditions and diverse weather instances, hence the tyres purposefully provide both worlds in one tyre i.e. the tyres will also provide good grip under dry and better water dispersal under wet situations.
