“Maxxis India managed to get 1018 dealerships on-board in a short span of 12 months. The tyre manufacturer is eyeing a sizeable chunk in Indian market in next few years, including 15% market share in two-wheeler segment by 2023.”
Maxxis India has managed to establish a network of more than 1000 dealerships in India in a relatively short span of time. The tyre manufacturer has a total of 1018 dealerships live on its website. This milestone has been achieved in last one year and is symptomatic of Maxxis’ aggressive strategy to be a prominent tyre brand in India.
The company focused on strengthening relationship with existing dealer partners while establishing connections with new ones. Various dealers’ meets and activations at a PAN India level were coordinated in this light. These meets helped Maxxis India touch base in tier-II and tier-III cities.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Bing-Lin Wu, Marketing & Retail Sales Head, Maxxis India, said, “We are delighted to reach the milestone of taking over 1000 dealers live on our website in a short span of time. As we make deeper inroads in the country, network expansion is a critical part of enhancing the customer experience. In order to realize the potential of the market we are making our tyres more accessible to the customers and ensuring best-in-class services across all our dealerships. We are very pleased with the pace of growth in India as it is a priority market for us and we have a strong commitment to grow our presence in the country.”
“Owing to the robust dealer engagement activities and customer-centric polices, we witnessed a tremendous growth spurt with the on-boarding of the last 100 dealers within a short span of 2 weeks. We have conducted 8 dealers’ meets across 8 cities so far and intend to keep the momentum going in 2019”, Mr. Bing-Lin Wu added.
The 1018 dealers are spread across 325 cities in India. Western India alone accounts for more than 500 dealers while those in North India range around 236. South and East stand at 195 and 49 dealerships respectively.
Consumers can visit Maxxis India website to locate a nearby dealer and this process is made all the easier through Google navigation feature on their website.
