Tata Curvv: Tyres & Wheels
The Tata Curvv showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 was a top-spec variant of the SUV, which will come with 18-inch machined alloy wheels wrapped with 215/55 R18 Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyres. Exclusively designed for high-performance sedans and SUVs, the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance was earlier compatible only with more expensive vehicles.
The prime highlight of the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance is QuietTred technology with an increased number of pitches and optimised distribution, which lowers the impact and radiated road noises. For a smoother and calmer rider, this Goodyear tyre also has closed grooves and shoulder design, optimised cavity shape and non-skid distribution.
This tyre also has FlexContact technology with shock-absorbing cushion layer compound with optimized formulation and reduced hysteresis to avoid road-induced block movements and reduce tyre vibrations. Additional features for reducing tyre vibrations are heavy gauge under tread, barrier gum strip and hexagonal bead.

Tata Curvv: Looks & Design
The new production version of the Tata Curvv retains many of the design highlights of the concept model, which include the unique and segment-first coupe-like roofline and flush-type door handles. The front profile of the Curvv shares some elements like daytime running LEDs with connected LED light bars and triangular housings for the LED headlamps with the Nexon. However, the trapezoidal front grille with gloss black and body-coloured inserts and air intake on the front bumper looks similar to those of the Tata Safari.
Tata Curvv: Engine & Specifications
For now, Tata Motors has confirmed that the new Curvv will be sold with petrol, diesel and all-electric powertrains, with the option of CNG variants planned as well. While the Curvv will share its 1.5-litre 115 PS diesel engine with the Nexon, it will also get the new-generation 1.2-litre 125 PS turbocharged petrol engine. The transmission options to be offered with these two engine options include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
