About Maxxis Bike tyres
Maxxis Tyres is a Taiwan-based multinational tyre manufacturer established in 1967. The company is the ninth largest tyre producer in the world and sells products to more than 180 countries, including Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, North America and Australia. The Indian wing was formed in 2014, while the sole manufacturing unit was established in 2018 in Sanand, Gujarat, where tyres for two-wheelers, passenger cars, racing, light-truck/SUV, extreme-off-road, and trailers are being produced.
Popular Bike Tyre
The Indian two-wheeler industry is flourishing like never before, and Maxxis, like other manufacturers, is trying to bring its best in different segments of this automotive space. The two-wheeler profile of Maxxis consists of a wide range of tyres crafted using innovative rubber compounds and designed for enhanced performance, durability and strength.
And as Indian roads require different kinds of turn, grip and stability, the Taiwanese tyre maker has tried to deliver on those demands. Some of the noteworthy tyres in the motorcycle segment include Maxxplore (M6239/M6240), M6311/M6312, MAV6/MAV6R, M6301, Extramaxx (M6233/M6234), M6302/M6302s, and M6304, among others.
These tyres are compatible with popular bikes, including Bajaj CT100, Bajaj Discover, TVS Star City+, Hero Splendor, Hero Glamour, Hero Passion Pro, and Honda Unicorn, among others.
Popular Scooter Tyre
Similar to the bike catalogue, the list of products in the scooter profile is vast. The tyres are produced for tackling mixed road conditions in urban regions, and specially designed tread patterns with wide and deep grooves for giving utmost stability and control on damp surfaces. The tyres such as M6302/M6302, M6309/M6310, M6307/M6220, M922F, M6000/M6000R, M6182 and M116, are designed to provide comfortable and safe ride quality during busy city manoeuvres.
Maxxis Sales Network
Maxxis has a widespread presence in India and intends to reach every nook and corner of the country. The tyre maker currently has over 3,000 dealerships in the Indian market, and the goal is to enhance this number further. In 2020 alone, the company added about 800 new dealerships across the country. The tyre brand presently rolls out over 20,000 units per day from its Gujarat plant.
