Hyundai Nios i10 is fitted with two tyre sizes i.e. 165/70 R14 and 175/60 R15 across its line-up. If you are looking to upsize you can choose the larger 15-inch tyre. Moreover, if you wish to continue with the 14-inch ones, you can go ahead with 185/65 R14.

The “ZR” (Zero Radial) is a marking that stands for premium, high-performance radial tyres. These tyres allows excellent control, braking and performance under high speed highway and race track conditions.

Opting for larger tyre size, besides the original one leads to reduced fuel mileage and performance. However, if you are fine with the drawbacks you can choose 205/55 R16 tyre size as the upsize to the existing 195/60 R16, instead of 205/60 R16.

Tyre upsizing affects the fuel mileage and performance of a car adversely, which is why it is not recommended by the auto makers. However, if grip and control are your concerns you can choose any premium tyre pattern from foreign tyre makers like Bridgestone (Dueler), Yokohama (Geolandar) and Michelin (Primacy SUV).

Both the tyres are promising products from the premium tyre maker Bridgestone, but serve different purposes. The Bridgestone S248 tyre pattern focuses on durability, ruggedness and long tyre life, while the Ecopia range tyres offer better comfort, low road noise and excellent braking control. Due to this, the two are differently priced. Choose as per your requirement, budget and priorities.
