The Santro gets a 1.1L petrol motor that makes 69PS and 99Nm torque. The engine was coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission, and there was also a provision for an AMT gearbox. The car was also available in a CNG variant that makes 60PS and 85Nm torque.
In terms of comfort, convenience, and features, the car came with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment supported by Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, powered ORVMs, steering mounted controls, remote tailgate open, rear ac vents, rear washer & wiper and remote fuel-lid operation among others.
In the safety department, there are dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert, speed sensing auto door lock, rear defogger and rear parking camera with sensors.
