Maruti Suzuki WagonR Specifications and Features

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR was launched first in 2001, and since then, it has received multiple facelifts and generations. The current third-generation version is underpinned by Suzuki’s versatile Heartect platform and gets two petrol-powered engine options. The smaller 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine produces 66 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque, while the larger 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine claims 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. Both these engine options can opt for either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

The lower LXI and VXI variants are also available with CNG compatibility for the 1.0-litre engine option, which is available solely with a 5-speed manual gearbox. In terms of features, this particular version of the WagonR feels the most premium to date, with features like steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
